KiwiCo is an innovative e-commerce company that sparks kids’ creativity and curiosity through offline and online materials and inspiration. We offer kids a delightful, engaging way to explore, create, and learn. Our core offering is a subscription service. We design and deliver awesome hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an e-commerce storefront and content platform. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids, we serve. Our office is in Mountain View, within walking distance of the Caltrain station. Currently, we work a hybrid schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday in-office and remote work the rest of the week.
Our subscription products were our first and still largest line of business. As the category manager for subscription you will be responsible for business growth and P&L. You own the pricing, promotions, and customer insights for subscriptions. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to set priorities, share insights, and drive growth initiatives.
This position reports directly to the Consumer GM and works closely with the rest of the executive team in Mountain View, CA.

- You are tenacious and dedicated and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competition.
- You will seek to deeply understand the customer, how we are meeting their needs and opportunities for improvement, and be responsible for disseminating that knowledge out to other teams.
- You will partner with product management, brand, marketing and merchandising to bring the KiwiCo subscription story to life, helping to attract new customers and retain active members.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in driving subscription eCommerce strategy and growth
- Experience evaluating market and industry trends, and setting strategy and tactics accordingly
- Experience conducting regular analyses of business performance
- Understands and can execute pricing and promotion strategies
- Experience in a direct-to-consumer, retail e-commerce, digital platforms, or related business
- Experience in a subscription consumer product preferred
- Previous P&L ownership experience preferred
- BA/BS required
- MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
