Job Description
The Associate Director, Digital Investment is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing media strategy and plans across multiple channels to drive client’s business objectives. This role will require a deep understanding of performance marketing, analytics, industry trends. The candidate will have a background in media buying, media planning, excellent communication skills, and history of driving measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic agenda as it relates to performance across digital, social, programmatic, custom content programs, and emerging media channels.
- Partner with Analytic teams to build both test and learn agenda as well as develop a KPI framework.
- Develop and manage performance-based media plans across digital channels, including but not limited to paid search, display, social, and video advertising.
- Analyze campaign performance data and optimize media plans accordingly to ensure client KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with Client, Strategy leads and analytics teams to develop strategic media plans that align with clients' business objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices and recommend new channels and tactics to improve campaign performance.
- Oversee the trafficking, pacing, and reporting of media campaigns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on campaign performance and industry knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners to stay informed about new opportunities and offerings.
- Manage and mentor junior media planners, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field
- 4+ years’ digital investment experience
- 2+ years management experience in digital investment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients and internal teams.
- Experience buying and planning for digital
- Strong digital background inclusive of DSPs, DMPs, Mobile, OLV, data and analytics, etc.
- Solid understanding of digital planning and activation tools (e.g., ComScore, PRISMA, Doubleclick)
- Strong experience with the billing and reconciliation process
- Proven ability to foster strong cross-functional teamwork, driving results across an organization
- Track record of building successful client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
