The role
We are on the hunt for someone extraordinary to join our People team! This is a super rare and exciting opportunity to join our rocket ship business and to have the chance to do things a little differently. This is a brand new role in the business that will see you supporting our Customer Experience, Retail and Nutrition teams. All of these teams have employees in the UK, USA, Germany and Japan.
- Collaborate with our Global Sales and Customer Experience teams to deliver our People strategy and drive performance in our key international markets (US, Germany & Japan).
- Partner with the wider people team and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture across international markets.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, resolving conflicts in accordance with local labor laws and company guidelines.
- Support Huel’s global expansion by providing People guidance on market-specific challenges, cultural nuances, and local regulatory landscapes.
- Create employee survey packs for SLT, identifying and addressing concerns, ensuring continuous improvement of the employee experience.
- Coach and develop leaders/managers to enable them to lead and develop their teams.
- Partner with our talent team to ensure our acquisition strategies are tailored to the specific needs of our international markets (US, Germany, Japan).
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations adapting Company policies as needed to remain up-to-date.
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation, advising on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
What we're looking for in you
This role will best suit someone with around 5 years + of experience in HR, with a focus on international markets. You'll have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in the US & Germany. Germany is a mandatory requirement.
You'll be someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You'll have the ability to drive change, influence decision-making, and solve complex people issues whilst being approachable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset who is truly flexible–you can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change.
