What does the Vice President & General Manager of Food Service On-Premise (FSOP) and Unattended Retail do at Swire-Coca-Cola?
The VP & GM of FSOP and Unattended Retail leads all aspects of Food Service On-Premise (FSOP), including Corporate FSOP, Field FSOP, and Unattended Retail in order to drive volume, revenue, & profit growth through account acquisition, management, and retention. Partners closely with other key department leadership as needed to deliver on FSOP vision and key strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with key customers in executing Swire's FSOP markets by driving brand utilization and growing overall market share.
- Leverage data and insights from cross-functional groups to drive current and future decision making.
- Evaluate, discuss, and approve or deny customer proposals and contracts per chart of authority (COA). For contracts above SVP FSOP's COA, provide proper documentation and clear explanation of opportunities and risks to CSO (CFO and/or CEO if necessary).
- Collaborate with VP Corporate FSOP and FSOP Revenue Growth Management (RGM) leadership in understanding and voting on national customer proposals and programs.
- Ensure regular routines include delivery of a solid business forecast with compelling insights which lead to the right actions to achieve planned targets.
- Build (with team), lead, and ensure regular communication of FSOP organization's vision and key strategies in order to align with Swire's long-term vision and strategies.
- Participate in and/or support key negotiations and negotiation strategies as appropriate (i.e., Tier 1 partnerships).
- Develop and execute long-term growth strategy for three functional areas within FSOP.
- Represent Swire's interests and priorities on committees and groups, including National On Premise, Bottler Only, Asset Management, and others as needed.
- Lead the team in collaborating with NAOU and other brand partners to deliver success as related to joint investments in assets, marketplace, or other programs.
- Work closely with FSOP RGM leadership to deliver appropriate pricing actions in a timely manner (annual or otherwise).
- Constantly collaborate with Swire's RGM team, Capabilities team, as well as legal counsel for evaluation and improvement of prospect to partnership process.
- Oversee creation of annual plan for Corporate FSOP, Unattended Retail, and FSOP Field Sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 8+ years sales experience in beverage, food, or equivalent industry required.
- 8+ years of team management and leadership experience required.
- 8+ years experience working across departments and organizational lines of a major organization required.
- 6+ years FSOP sales experience required.
- 4+ years strategic customer negotiation experience required.
