Location:
Hybrid roles require role responsibilities to be performed in the office for a portion of the week, with an option to work remotely. You must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the San Francisco office location.
What You'll Need:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong track record of technical leadership and impactful contributions.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer products
- Past experience working on Growth teams to drive top-of-funnel conversion
- Technical Skills: Advanced, proven expertise in our frontend stack: Javascript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NextJS, and Remix.
- Experience running A/B tests with experimentation platforms (Amplitude Experiment, Optimizely, etc.)
- Ideally, experience in the following:
- Experience in mobile app development using React Native
- Experience implementing advanced animations in CSS
- Experience with backend development (Go, Ruby, Postgres)
- Product Sense: Ability to make data-driven product decisions, working with Product and various stakeholders to build products that start and end with the customer.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and take initiative in driving technical excellence.
- Architectural Skills: Deep understanding of software architecture, with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and propose improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this position is $170,000-$213,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
