Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Pacific Region Business Technical Director. This position will be located in Honolulu, HI and will be a remote position within the United States.
Responsibilities
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
- Identifies potential growth opportunities and new lines of business based on alignment to portfolio and business unit growth goals.
- Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
- Prepares manpower staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
- Provides advisement to Program and task leadership. Assists in strategies for project execution and mission enhancement.
- Generates new customer relationships and assists with expanding/building existing customer partnerships.
- Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.
- May manage one or more programs, may manage an operating/field office, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in the customary disciplines.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s with 8-12 years (or commensurate experience).
* Clearance Required: Secret. Must be able to obtain TS with SCI eligibility after employed.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $180,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
