This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of Compliance (OC), Program Management and Analysis Staff (PMAS), which is located in White Oak, Maryland.
The position of Management Analyst falls within the 0343 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-11, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 10/11/2024.
Minimum Qualifications:
Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. The specialized experience must demonstrate one year of full-time work experience, or the equivalent if part-time (for example, an employee working 20 hours per week for a 12-month period should be credited with 6 months of experience). Experience may have been obtained in either the federal service or its equivalent with state or local government, the private sector, or nongovernmental organizations.
GS-11: Applicant must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal Service to include three or more of the following:
- Researching and interpreting policies that impact office;
- Attending meetings and/or conferences to ensure administrative programs comply with operating program requirements;
- Administering timecard management system and works to resolve leave discrepancies;
- Working with travelers on work-related travel to troubleshoot system issues and addresses policy-related issues and questions.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualification and perform the duties of the position.

3 academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education, in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position.
