Job Responsibilities:
The Patient Account Specialist, as a member of the billing team, will perform a variety of professional and administrative responsibilities according to the job description. Responsibilities include:
- Statement preparation
- Patient eligibility verification
- Financial eligibility
- Collections
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must possess the following:
- Proficient computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following skillset will receive preference:
- 2-4 years in a medical office setting with prior management of patient accounts
- Prior experience using the NextGen Healthcare Practice Management application
