Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital is located in Columbia, Maryland and has been serving the community since 1984. We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets and offer services such as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Here at Hickory Ridge, we have a dedicated team of professionals from diverse backgrounds that are well-trained and highly skilled. Our team loves our client’s pets and love what they do. We are open to hiring a full-time DVM or a part-time DVM. For Part-Time, the working schedule will be 30 hours/week, Wednesday-Friday (no weekends). The working hours for Wednesday and Thursday are 8am-6pm, and 8am-5pm for Friday.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of in which applicant is applying
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
- Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Proficiency in surgery a plus
