The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for the organization and its products. The Marketing Director will work closely with the senior management team to bring products to market, develop marketing campaigns and initiatives, oversee budgets, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, experience in bringing products to market, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage internal staff and external vendors, such as Photographers, PR firms and marketing agencies, to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials and campaigns that align with company messaging and branding
- Manage the budget for all marketing activities, ensuring that spending is efficient and effective
- Supervise marketing programs, such as email campaigns, sales campaigns, tradeshows, and events, to generate and drive sales
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales enablement tools, such as sales presentations, product demos, and customer displays
- Advance targeted marketing campaigns for each of the key customer segments
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform marketing teams
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using metrics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and recommend new marketing tactics and strategies as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
- 5+ years of experience in the Kitchen & Bath industry
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Proven track record of bringing products to market
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
