Pay Range: $ 350,000 - $400,000 annually
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Pathologist, Associate Director with Medical Directorship duties
PhenoPath is recruiting a full-time Surgical Pathologist with Medical Directorship duties to sit onsite at Everett Clinic located in Everett, WA. Candidates should bring 5 years of general surgical pathology sign out experience and one or more areas of subspecialty expertise/interest in anatomic pathology.The chosen candidate will act as the Medical Director for the lab.
- 5 years general surgical pathology sign out experience of a wide variety of primary pathology specimens to include prostate, gynecological, and breast specimens and fluency in the histologic and immunohistochemical assessment of a broad range of surgical pathology sample types, including diagnostic and prognosis/predictive markers.
- Ability to function in a collegial manner with all pathologists and other staff at PhenoPath, including coordination of time off to ensure adequate service coverage, and timely review of colleagues' difficult cases when requested.
- Availability to PhenoPath and Quest customers and staff as questions/concerns arise.
- As appropriate, participation in PhenoPath committees and/or the development of PhenoPath informational/marketing materials.
- Maintaining appropriate licensing/accreditation and keeping abreast of the relevant pathology literature via participation in CME or similar activities.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information concerning patients, employees, clients, vendors, and the company.
- Supporting the medical director in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Performing other assigned duties or tasks on an as-needed basis.
- Board certification in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology
- Fellowship training is desirable (e.g., general surgical pathology, Cytopathology, GU, GYN/breast, or Soft Tissue pathology).
- 5 years post-fellowship general surgical pathology sign out experience
