Assistant Project Manager (Oracle Cloud Financials) Hoboken, NJ
This position is for an entry-level Project Manager and individual contributor in Oracle Financial Cloud implementation and redesign/configuration project. Primary role is to provide assistance to the PMO office, PMs, and Technical Product Managers (TPMs) in various capacities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains the PMO Methodology (Agile and Waterfall) and Lifecycle Processes.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Supports PMO with status presentations and project plan documentation that support the PMO Methodology.
- Assists PMs in managing project artifacts and financials.
- Responsible for assisting with the development of the annual plan and monthly forecasts and helps prepare variance analysis for review with team Director and Technical Product Managers.
- Assists with the operations of the team including resource management, contractor onboarding, and time recording.
- Collates and tracks program status information and project artifacts (budget and resource utilization) at various stages of a project’s lifecycle using the agreed tools (Microsoft Project).
- Maintains meeting minutes and action items.
- Analyses data and provides Project Status and Tracking reports on a weekly/monthly basis to PMO Leadership and stakeholders.
- Helps maintain and monitor the SharePoint/Livelink tool.
- Creates and maintains toolsets (Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) used by the Program Management group.
- Recommends corrective actions on projects, if required.
- Works with Finance to agree on the finance templates and assists with producing the Weekly/Monthly Finance reports.
- Supports Program Managers with creating Budget Submissions.
- Reviews and collates budget submissions; provides quality reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience in very large organizations.
- 1+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, IF statements, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, forecasting, etc.
- Understanding of SDLC.
- Understanding of the full lifecycle of projects.
