Essential Job Functions
Strategic Leadership and Client Engagement
- Identify and engage potential clients across all facets of the Capital Markets and Asset Management industry, including lead generation, fund accounting systems implementation, data analytics and visualizations solutions, digital operations, reporting, and data strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain invaluable relationships with key industry stakeholders to generate leads, create opportunities, and foster trust.
Strategic Alliances and Partnerships
- Leverage an extensive network and industry relationships to establish strategic collaborations and partnerships with leading organizations within the Capital Markets and Asset Management sectors.
- Evaluate opportunities where our cutting-edge technology and business operations solutions can deliver substantial value.
Industry Insight & Gap Analysis
- Maintain a keen awareness of evolving industry trends, challenges, and emerging needs.
- Provide expert guidance on identifying industry gaps where ThoughtFocus' technology and tools can pioneer innovative solutions.
Leading Industry Transformation
- Lead ThoughtFocus in driving transformation within the Capital Markets Industry by identifying opportunities that go beyond immediate client requirements.
- Develop visionary strategies to position our solutions as industry-leading, rather than merely reactive.
Energetic Approach and Prospecting
- Exhibit a high-energy, proactive attitude to identify and approach potential clients, demonstrating ThoughtFocus' commitment to excellence.
- Willingly engage in extensive travel to establish new relationships and expand our client base.
Required Education, Skills and Experience
Network: A robust network within FINTECH, along with an in-depth understanding of the Capital Markets Industry, showcasing relationships that can be leveraged for the benefit of ThoughtFocus.
Capital Market Expertise: A profound knowledge of technology services and business operations within the Capital Market domain, reflecting years of hands-on experience.
Proven Sales & Business Development Experience: A track record of success in business development, sales, or client management roles within the Capital Market sector, demonstrating the ability to drive revenue growth.
Strategic Vision: Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities, allowing the identification of industry gaps and the proposal of innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proactive Prospecting: A willingness to actively prospect and pursue new clients across various Capital Market and Asset Management segments, including lead generation, fund accounting systems implementation, data analytics and visualizations solutions, digital operations, reporting, and data strategy.
Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, and client management within the Capital Market domains is compulsory.
