What You Will Do
As the Senior Manager, Productivity, you will be responsible for leading the cost savings agenda across the total Operations function at Chomps. This new role is critical as Chomps' growth has accelerated, combined with the increasing scale and complexity of our supply chain. We have the unique opportunity to find efficiencies in our end-to-end supply chain. As cost savings are identified and implemented, it will allow reinvestment in the Brand to support future growth. You will partner across each of the sub-functions within our Operations team, including Procurement, Manufacturing (CoMan and Repack), R&D, Fulfillment, Transportation, and Planning, to identify and drive execution of cost savings initiatives. Additionally, you will partner with other functions outside of Operations to ensure alignment and support for these initiatives, including Finance, Business Analytics, Sales, Ecomm, and Brand teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall governance of productivity (cost savings) processes across Operations/Supply Chain.
- Drive dedicated focus for and support of productivity efforts as many Operations resources team are often pulled in the direction of daily operational execution.
- Lead ideation and brainstorming processes to identify, quantify, prioritize, and resource cost savings initiatives.
- Drive alignment on cost savings initiatives with key decision-makers balancing cost savings potential, but also what is best for the Brand holistically.
- Serve as project manager for all end-to-end supply chain cost savings initiatives which require heavy coordination and trade-offs between functions.
- Provide support as needed to the sub-functions within Operations (Procurement, Manufacturing, R&D, Fulfillment, Transportation, and Planning) to implement projects within their functional area.
- Travel to Chicago office and third-party partners across our end-to-end supply chain – expect travel commitments to be in the 25-40% range.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant Supply Chain and Operations experience with breadth across different functions, including both Headquarter/Corporate and Field experiences (i.e. at Manufacturing and Distribution/Fulfillment sites).
- Project management skills.
- Lean Six Sigma certification and practical experiences with cost savings leadership and tangible results.
- Direct people leadership skills - ideally both salary (exempt) and hourly.
- Influencing, alignment, communication (verbal and written), cross-functional collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and financial acumen, including capability to understand business drivers and dig into cost structures including budgets vs. actuals, volume projections, financial modeling, etc.
- Ability to grasp new concepts, multitask, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritization skills to focus on highest value and velocity cost savings opportunities (opportunity vs. effort).
- Entrepreneurial mentality with a 'self-starter' approach.
- Problem solver who seeks creative solutions, with a consistent attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint.
- Experiences in CPG, Food, and/or Beverage industries is a plus.

Salary Range Opportunity:
- The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 + 20% annual bonus.

- Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
