Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Within Prime, the Prime Science team owns developing cutting-edge technical solutions on behalf of Prime's greater than 200 million members across 20+ countries. As a Sr. Technical Product Manager on the Prime Science Team, you will be responsible for working closely with Software Engineers, Economists, Machine Learning Scientists, UX Researchers, and others to build and execute complicated technical roadmaps and set a vision for how to unlock the capabilities of emerging technologies such as Generative AI to invite on behalf of Prime's members.
You will have end-to-end ownership of decisioning systems that inform Prime's strategic investments and help build solutions that personalize a member's experience with the Prime Program. You will be responsible for diving deep into challenging problems and partnering with experts across fields to find solutions that delight our customers. You will leverage data, strong business judgment, and deep technical acumen to inform and influence senior leaders across Prime and Amazon's global footprint.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the product strategy across a range of forecasting and decision-making systems
- Define and articulate a product strategy to leverage technologies such as generative AI to deliver transformative personalized customer experiences
- Influence multiple VP-led organizations on their CX approaches and investment priorities
- Collaborate with SDEs and Scientists across organizations to define scalable technical approaches to challenging problems
- Navigate ambiguity to define org-wide product strategy and annual prioritization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Experience working with Machine Learning Scientists, Economists, Operations Research or other Science domains in research and/or non-research environments to develop highly scalable distributed systems to solve business challenges around Forecasting, Optimization, Personalization or similar.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
