The Lead Clinician II is responsible for working within an interdisciplinary team to provide consultation and treatment planning on clinical presentations of students across settings. The Lead Clinician also serves as a programmatic supervisor for clinicians working within our residential setting. They focus the team on life skills and improved quality of life indicators through clinical support.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervision of Clinicians:
- Ensure compliance/participation to service delivery of the IEP and treatment planning process in the residential setting for assigned residential clinicians.
- Facilitate treatment plan development and snapshots for students in assigned cluster.
- Create student-centered schedule for clinical shifts for assigned cluster integrating and accommodating master residential and program schedules.
- Onboard new clinicians into the assigned cluster.
- Provide oversight, feedback, and direction to clinicians during the assigned program shift.
- Work collaboratively with The Guild leadership to ensure license-specific, clinical supervision to team members is available and based on need.
- Ensure payroll is complete for assigned clinicians.
Case Management Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create programming aimed at improving quality of life for our students within the school, residence, and community.
- Travel between the school and residences during shift to provide crisis management and problem solving on an as needed basis.
- Participate in IEP, treatment plan and progress monitoring team meetings for assigned students.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop corresponding interventions for treatment plans.
- Provide evidenced-based staff training and modeling of treatment plan interventions, The Guild's Universal Practices, and appropriate staff-student interactions in all settings.
- Track, monitor and analyze student data to determine effectiveness of interventions, making recommendations as needed to teams.
- In conjunction with other team members, develop individualized life skills programming and data tracking systems using comprehensive assessments and curricula for skills to increase.
- Lead student group sessions targeting social and functional living skills.
- Participate in off-site evaluations as part of the admissions process.
- Attend training as required.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportation of individuals.
- Must be able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI).
- The ability to assist individuals in evacuation from the residence.
- The ability to provide clinical coverage in the residences during school intercession breaks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters degree in ABA, Education, Psychology or related field required.
- BCBA, LMHC, LISW required; if experience hours needed, see behavior clinician I roles.
- Training or experience with a population with developmental disabilities and social/emotional challenges preferred.
- Experience in developing, writing, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of behavior programs.
- A valid driver's license.
- Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements.
- Proficiency in Office Suite.
