Senior Consultant
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance.
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead efforts to evaluate and enhance business processes, develop and implement effective procedures, and provide strategic guidance. You will deliver training, offer ongoing support, and conduct evaluations to drive operational efficiency and achieve project goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Consultant: 175,000 to 195,000 annually. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Senior Consultant Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate current expectations and processes for project leads through interviews with managers, project leads, and staff.
- Document existing practices and develop proposals for improved processes.
- Provide training on new processes and support their implementation, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Assess and document current processes for key areas such as policy work, public communication, and internal resource management.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and propose improved business processes.
- Offer guidance and support during the implementation of new processes.
- Facilitate three training sessions on Program Management best practices related to identified business processes.
- Conduct individual project management training sessions as needed.
- Develop training materials and guides to support SOPs and office needs.
- Provide continuous support for implementing new guidelines and processes.
- Conduct periodic evaluations to identify gaps, measure progress, and ensure effective process management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Senior Consultant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- MA in a related field preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in Program and Strategy Management and Development.
- 6 years of experience in Program and Strategy Management and Development preferred.
- 2 years of experience in government program management and development preferred.
- Expertise in evaluating and enhancing business processes and developing SOPs.
- Ability to design and deliver effective training sessions and create training materials.
- Project Management: Proficient in managing projects and implementing new processes.
- Strong skills in documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Capable of providing ongoing support and conducting process evaluations.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
