Job Summary
In recognition of the importance of the multifamily segment and associated multiple dwelling unit (MDU) verticals, MEMBERS ONLY seeks a senior executive leader to join MEMBERS ONLY's existing multifamily business and lead it to the next level of growth and performance. MEMBERS ONLY is already an established leader with an industry-leading brand in the multifamily space, servicing thousands of MDU properties spanning millions of subscribers, both retail and bulk, with an ever-increasing suite of products and services, spanning video, voice, internet/broadband, and mobile. This position will focus on the key product and device/hardware portfolio necessary for MEMBERS ONLY's continued competitive differentiation and growth, spanning both retail and bulk MDU needs, including video, voice, internet/broadband, mobile, and advanced products such as Managed WiFi and WiFi Ready. This position will work hand-in-hand with other leaders in the multifamily organization that are focused on MDU solutions, MDU go-to-market, and MDU business & product strategy. The successful candidate is one that brings a balance of technical competence and commercial acumen with a product management mindset squarely centered on growth, alongside domain expertise in MDU or multifamily generally, and how to manage a product & device portfolio that services the needs of both property managers and residents/tenants.
Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for MEMBERS ONLY's MDU product portfolio across Internet/broadband, video/entertainment (including XFINITY On Campus), voice, and mobile, coordinating and collaborating across MEMBERS ONLY's residential lines of business, extracting those capabilities, and representing the needs of MDU property owners and residents/tenants.
- Responsible for MEMBERS ONLY's MDU device, equipment, hardware portfolio for hardware specifically targeted to MDUs, for example, purpose-built CPE, managed WiFi APs, EPON CPE.
- Product strategy, product ideation, product roadmap, product management, business case development, prioritization, matrix management for delivery and launch, and in-life management of the MDU product and hardware portfolio. Collaborate across organizations across the entire MDU business, from sales, through R&D/engineering, through operations and support.
- Thought leadership, stakeholdering, and influence across the organization to ensure MDU product priorities are being advanced apace with the MDU industry and MEMBERS ONLY's opportunity within.
- Collaboration and coordination with MEMBERS ONLY Business for the incorporation of to-building connectivity into the overall MDU product portfolio and proposition, e.g., MetroE.
- Responsible for the development of connected building (or digital foundation) strategy, product, proposition, and launch.
- Product performance assessment and portfolio management for all MDU products and devices/hardware.
- Responsible for MDU adjacent product portfolio management, a suite of value-added services for MDUs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- The successful executive candidate will have in-depth experience in leading a technology-oriented and consumer-or B2B-driven business and a successful track record of leadership that fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation and forward-thinking.
- Extensive experience working cross-functionally within a large scale, complex, data driven and technologically innovative organization.
- Solid track record of achieving business objectives utilizing influence skills with significant dependencies both internally and externally. Able to drive strategic alignment and execution while fostering relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Ability to successfully innovate in a scaled, existing product line while concurrently prioritizing multiple projects, new opportunities and roadmap development.
- Holistic business experience in consumer technology products and services with demonstrated knowledge of current trends in the TV, internet and wireless ecosystem. Solid understanding of product development life cycle and end-to-end supply and distribution chain.
- Highly motivated and adaptable in pursuing innovation, customer experience and commercially successful strategies.
