The Global Public Sector, Sales Excellence team is hiring a leader! Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy, within the COO organization, this role is responsible for all design, implementation, tracking and process improvement of sales training in the Global Public Sector business unit – inclusive of AMER, EMEA and APAC geographies and all specialist product groups.
Role Description:
We are looking for a dedicated, insightful, creative, and hardworking individual with great energy, leadership skills, and self-driven initiative to support all aspects of sales excellence and training in the public sector business. This Director position will oversee a team aligned to the global remit of the organization and is responsible for geographically specific program roll outs and success. The role will be hands-on facilitating both general corporate and global public sector specific content and programs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of three (3) Geographic Program Managers for execution of Sales Training actions in AMER, EMEA and APAC regions of Global Public Sector (GPS)
- Drive alignment and strategy across Salesforce and GPS-specific programs to help grow the business and increase field productivity at scale
- Align training efforts with key performance indicators, and business outcomes, tracking value and impact such as ramp-up time, productivity, goals & competency achievements
- Collaborate with GTM leadership to design/enhance and deliver ongoing training programs - coaching, and mentoring to improve sales, success, and support techniques and ensure consistent messaging
- Design and implement comprehensive sales programs to equip sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to actively engage prospects, close deals, and meet revenue targets
- Design and develop solutions across a variety of modalities (e.g., in-person, virtual, eLearning, videos, on-the-job support, management & mentorship tools)
- Maintain and refresh centralized sales excellence training content repositories - specifically for GPS
- Lead the annual Sales Kick Off (SKO) activities for GPS
- Consult on tool evaluations and expenditure relative to the area of focus
- Lead and develop an impactful team of training professionals. Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive individual and team success.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ year experience in Sales Training (or similar roles)
- Experience supporting Global Public Sector
- Experience working in Software/ SaaS
- Knowledge and proficiency of Salesforce applications
- Creative, organized, and process-focused with strong technical competence
- Strong relationship-builder with the ability to lead and influence in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization
- A change-oriented leader with a strong bias toward action
- Data-driven approach with proven experience using metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making
- Has experience and a strong point of view on GTM Methodology – understanding how cross functional groups work together
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Team Management
- Experience in Global Organizational Support
- Advanced University/College Degree
- Relevant experience with Sales Enablement platforms (Highspot, etc)
Compensation:
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,300 to $262,900. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
