Senior Project Manager
Location: Chicago - Hybrid - 12++ Month Contract
Some PM's have more impact than others...and you are not one of the others.
We've been engaged by a unique organization that provides insurance and financial services to the largest labor unions in the world. They have an in-house PMO that houses 8 senior level project managers, and due to upcoming critical projects, they need to add a long-term (12++ month) contracted SPM to the team. You'll own several large and complex SDLC related projects that touch all aspects of the business. You'll have support, access, and all the tools you need to create real project plans and then execute to delivery.
The Environment: Professional, respectful, and collaborative - there's no challenge they can’t communicate through. The work is hybrid, working from home 3 days per week and in their office (northwest side of Chicago near O'Hare) 2 days per week, you choose the days.
The Compensation: Market hourly rate on a W2 or 1099 basis with a weekly pay cycle. The project will last at least a year, with multi-year extensions possible. You have access to benefits, training, and flexible scheduling.
To be considered you must bring significant Project Management experience within a corporate software development environment, technical acumen, relationship building skills, PMP (desired), and a high level of conscientiousness - meaning you care deeply about doing your work well.
