Regional, National and Big 4 CPA firms in the NY tri-state area seek audit candidates.
Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, budgeting, supervising and delegating responsibilities for audit engagements.
- Supervising, training and evaluating staff.
- Performing analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends and fluctuations in business activities.
- Reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules, footnotes and disclosures for publicly and privately held companies.
- Researching FASB and AICPA accounting pronouncements to ensure proper client application and disclosure.
- Auditing and reviewing SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks.
- Exposure to SOX 404 audit.
The right candidate will have the following:
- 4-10 years recent CPA firm experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to train and evaluate staff.
- Good “team player”.
All candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
