The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction in a transmission, substation, gas utility or other energy/utility related field
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or significant work experience) preferred
Demonstrated supervision experience leading people and jobs
OSHA 30 training (preferred), OSHA 10 training (required)
Must be willing and able to travel (>50%)
Must have experience at managing construction projects in the utility and or infrastructure industry (bridges, buildings, heavy civil, and other projects)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Safety oriented
Track record of being able to recruit crews
Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate and implement construction schedules
Oversee field manpower and subcontractors
Control the jobsite for labor, equipment, material and services
Work with safety leadership and field personnel to ensure CJ Drilling’s safety program is followed on each project
Responsible for CJ Drilling’s quality program on each project
Participate in bid reviews and ensure that quality and financial projections are met in the field
