Summary:
In this role, you will manage multiple, cross-functional teams for complex projects and process improvement initiatives that support achieving Vizient strategic objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all project participants and stakeholders ensuring accurate and high-quality outcomes through the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of projects that drive value for the enterprise and/or providers.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations.
- Form dedicated project teams, define roles, and provide clear instructions. Engage team members by communicating project goals and the significance of their contributions.
- Manage project issues & risks and conduct root cause analyses where appropriate.
- Develop and manage project plans, project artifacts, process maps and process improvement plans.
- Facilitate project meetings, project tracking and frequent report outs to various levels of stakeholders and leaders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, management, and stakeholders.
- Respond to all inquiries about project status expectations, deadlines, and guidelines clearly, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow Project Management Office (PMO) team standard methodologies, while tailoring them to meet the unique requirements of each project.
- Serve as an expert resource in PMO methodologies and project management for the enterprise.
- Identify and propose additional needs for project governance metrics and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience required.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-wide programs, complex, and cross-functional projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to a variety of audiences required.
- Ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects, priorities and tasks as needed.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and critically to solve complex business challenges.
- Experience working with business & technical stakeholders in the healthcare and/or software development industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products such as Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
- Experience tracking projects in a project management tool such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Wrike, etc. with knowledge of Smartsheet preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
