We are currently looking for a full-time Director of Procurement who will be responsible for providing leadership in executing Procurement Strategy in LATAM. Involved in all Corporate Procurement matters (Direct and Indirect) which includes interfacing with facilities, vendors, and suppliers while maintaining compliance to TC Transcontinental Packaging’ direction. Negotiates with supply chain personnel, suppliers and vendors in order to achieve established cost savings.

When your actions lead to success.
- Maintains key relationships with vendors at national level to negotiate savings corporate wide to ensure consistent source of supply and cost savings.
- Views Corporate Procurement from corporate level in order to anticipate potential problems and provide proactive solutions.
- Leverages large volume purchases in order to increase cost savings.
- Interfaces with LATAM Corporate Senior Management and Business Unit Managers concerning previous month’s purchases, savings and any other Procurement activities.
- Interpreting, analyzing and using data analytics to drive decision making.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of procurement costs and savings to Senior Leadership.
- Negotiates price, consignment, and logistics with vendors and suppliers within the Supply Chain.
- Interfaces with other company personnel as needed to negotiate the best possible position for TC Transcontinental Packaging.
- Issues Corporate LATAM Procurement Policies and Procedures.
- Reviews and approves plant actions in reference to Procurement.
- Interfaces with Facility, Business Unit and Corporate personnel to address current and anticipated needs.
- Manages Inventory through consistent and suitable buying processes.
- Manages a Category Manager employee.
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

- BS in Business Management or related degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience leading a procurement team.
- Detail oriented with advanced organizational skills.
- Proven strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%; ability to work remotely.
