About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Partner Development to join our world class medical group and lead this effort to grow our managed services division to bring value to new partner segments. The SVP will play a crucial role in shaping and leading Sound's service offerings, leveraging our extensive experience to meet and exceed partner expectations.
This role involves close collaboration with Sound’s clinical leadership to develop customized hospital system partnerships through an offering built upon diagnostic consulting, clinical and operating transformation, and change management. On a day-to-day basis, the role will focus on development and maintenance of major client relationships but will not be directly responsible for managed services delivery of managed services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Strategic Leadership of Managed Services Offering
- Maintaining a deep understanding of target customer needs and competitor activity
- Collaborating with clinical leadership to guide development of the offering -- continuously improving its attractiveness and effectiveness
- Developing and maintaining a multi-year business plan for the offering
Strategic Partner Development:
- Identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with large healthcare organizations
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects
- Leading and collaborating with clients to understand business objectives and manage project teams
- Ensuring client satisfaction with quality work on time and within budget
- Assembling and coaching the right team for client projects
- Managing project fiscal outcomes and team productivity
Consultative Selling / Business Development:
- Understanding partner needs and presenting tailored managed services solutions
- Articulating the value proposition of our physician management services
- Driving managed services adoption through a consultative selling approach
- Developing strategies to engage potential partners in a 90-day diagnostic process
- Leveraging your network to create and pursue new business opportunities
- Managing prospective client targets and engaging them in key offerings
- Collaborating on proposals, pitches, and winning new business
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and clinical leaders
Operational Implementation:
- Developing and maintaining multi-dimensional performance diagnostic
- Recruiting and managing a team that conducts performance diagnostic at managed services clients (Phase 1 of the offering)
- Successfully converting Phase 1 (diagnostic) partners to long-term managed services arrangements
- Coordinating with internal teams for smooth transition to managed services delivery
- Maintaining C-level health system relationships; monitoring and addressing operational challenges at managed services partners
- Collaborating with internal functional leaders to guide resource allocation and prioritization to support managed services, and resolving operating issues that arise during delivery

Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing teams, and leading challenging project activities within tight project timelines
- Strong understanding of operational implementation and integration processes
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of experience working in the healthcare industry– ideally within healthcare providers, payers, health tech, consumer health and healthcare associations
- 15+ years’ experience working in the consulting services and sales industry supporting healthcare customers
- Industry thought leader capable of leading complex engagements with superior practice-building and client relationship-management skills
- Deep relevant experience in consulting in healthcare or adjacent business lines
- Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role within the healthcare industry, with demonstrated success in consultative selling and strategic partner development
- Results-oriented with a history of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Has a strong personal brand as a senior consultant, excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and proven track record of developing and managing strong client relationships - results-oriented, with a history of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Proven ability to build, grow, and maintain a high-performing teams
- Outstanding people leader, adept at attracting, motivating, and developing consulting professionals
