AMN Healthcare has been exclusively retained to lead a national search to recruit the next Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Southern New Hampshire Health located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
The Opportunity:
Southern New Hampshire Health, a member of Solution Health, is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, results-oriented healthcare executive to serve as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (SVP/COO). SNHH is comprised of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, a thriving 188 bed acute care facility housed on two campuses and Foundation Medical Partners, the employed multi-specialty provider group.
Reporting directly to the CEO & President of Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH), the COO has responsibility for driving operational direction and improvement initiatives for SNHH in collaboration with the SNHH President and CEO and leadership team. In addition, the COO has primary administrative responsibility for leading, directing and driving continuous operating performance improvement for Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. The COO, through direct reports and in collaboration with other senior leaders, ensures that departments achieve budgeted financial objectives through continual oversight of business operations. The COO maintains close collaboration and alignment with the Chief Administrative Officer and Foundation Medical Partners (FMP) Management Team, and FMP Board of Governors to ensure medical center and medical group activities are aligned.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Ten years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including experience as the executive responsible for inpatient operations of a hospital, or a large service line within a health system is required.
- The successful candidate will currently be a Chief Operating Officer, SVP/VP of Operations, Service Line Leader or hold another senior executive-level position in a healthcare provider organization with a reputation for excellence.
- Must have a strong understanding of community-based healthcare.
- Proven ability to drive organizational change.
- Track record of developing effective, trusting relationships with providers is critical.
- Demonstrated success at inspiring teams to collaborate and deliver exceptional results.
- Successful experiences in process improvement methodology (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma or other) and success utilizing technology to help improve clinical operations and efficiency.
- A master’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration or a related field is required. FACHE is preferred.

The West Campus includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab services.
