Head of Sales and Business Development
As the Head of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for driving our company's growth and success by leading and managing our sales and business development team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- People Management:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement performance management processes and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Manage employee development and succession planning.
Qualifications:- Proven track record in sales leadership and business development within the military, commercial, medical imaging.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, with experience in OLEDs and optical filters, films, and components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, driving performance and achieving results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in the medical imaging industry.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations.
Travel:Approximately 40% travel is required for this position.
