Ford Credit is experiencing significant business transformation in an ever-changing digital world. We are searching for a Senior Product Manager, Data Orchestration Platform who will help to unlock the power of our data orchestration platform.
REMOTE: We’re looking for the best talent no matter where you are in the United States. This person will need to work EST hours and there is expected travel to the Dearborn, MI area approximately one-week 6X/year.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery and growth of an innovative Data Orchestration platform built using GraphQL and other event streaming platforms. You'll also work with tech teams in a matrixed environment while owning the future vision and roadmap of your area. You’ll be expected to:
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Data Orchestration Platform.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into detailed product specifications.
- Deeply understand the intricate data orchestration landscape and business processes.
- Champion a narrative-driven approach to product development.
- Lead and drive narrative and event storming sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Create well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Refine features and stories, participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education.
- 12+ years’ experience working with customer, marketing, and financial data.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL, Apollo Client/Server/Studio, and related technologies.
- Experience in building data orchestration platforms.
- Experience in API Security and gateway.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good to have familiarity with RBAC, ReBAC, and ABAC Concepts for API Security.
