Job Description SummaryThis role reports to the WM, CEO and will play a key role on the mortgage leadership team by providing oversight of daily administrative operations for the mortgage company. They provide input for strategic planning, partner with mortgage leaders in goal setting for departments, collaborate on policy implementation, and ensure the smooth running of the business according to established policies and overall vision.
The role offers a high level of visibility to the Wintrust Mortgage strategy and contributes directly to strategies related to oversight, real estate, exam management and line of business projects.
The role provides leadership to mortgage Marketing, Business Operations, Project Management, Customer Experience and Contacting.
What You’ll Do- Conduct industry benchmarking to inform 3-year business strategy
- Provide project management support to gather requirements for documentation and execution of strategy and monthly progress reporting
- Directly contribute to key strategies, including resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage financial aspects and operational efficiency of the departments under control
- Provide solutions to manage expenses and grow revenue stream for the mortgage company
- Oversee and strategize for real estate endeavors and manage mortgage’s corporate facilities
- Proactively make recommendations for real estate space needs
- Provide leadership to Mortgage Marketing, Business Operations, Project Management, Customer Experience and Contacting.
- Executive Management Reporting for Corporate Services: monthly EMR, RMRC Updates, Fair Lending Updates, OCC Recommendations
- Prepare presentation materials in support of Corporate Services and mortgage initiatives.
- Develop team by providing career growth, development and direct support for employee engagement activities.
Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience- 10+ years related experience
- Leadership experience in Mortgage Marketing, Business Operations, Project Management, Customer Experience and Contacting
- Experience managing marketing budgets in excess of $1M
