About the Role
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will lead our financial planning, budgeting, and analytical activities. You will provide insightful analysis and strategic guidance to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. We are looking for someone who has a passion for numbers with an understanding of how forecasting, trends, and planning can provide business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis to recommend actionable insights to senior management for financial plans, trends, forecasts, variances, and areas for opportunity or concern.
- Conduct evaluations on justifications for capital expenditures.
- Support management with information requests for areas of cost and revenue.
- Ongoing analysis of corporate projects and investments.
- Document and review revenue and expenses to compare against actual to forecasted figures, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas for opportunity including forecasting accuracy and resource allocation optimizations.
- Perform analysis to help with the month-end close.
Job Requirements:
- Associates degree in Accounting with a minimum 3 years’ equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred.
- Big Four CPA firm experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work under pressure and within short deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and pro-actively.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others.
- Prior healthcare/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Hybrid Opportunity – 3 days a week in Princeton Junction, NJ office.
