About the Job
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for defining and executing the company's global marketing strategy to drive growth, elevate brand visibility, and enhance market penetration. The CMO will lead a high-performing marketing team and work closely with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with the company’s business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that increase market share, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Brand Management: Lead the development and evolution of Arcoro’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and design across all platforms.
- Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and website optimization to enhance lead generation and customer engagement.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to develop marketing campaigns that align with product launches and new feature rollouts, ensuring strong market positioning.
- Demand Generation: Implement programs that drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline, focusing on target industries such as construction and skilled trades.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer and market trends to inform strategies, ensuring the company is responsive to changes in demand and competitive landscapes.
- Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts support sales goals, creating marketing collateral, case studies, and tools that enhance sales performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with Arcoro’s overall mission and values.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI, efficiently allocating resources to initiatives that support growth objectives.
- Public Relations & Communications: Oversee PR efforts, media relations, and internal communications to promote the brand and ensure consistent external messaging.
- Metrics & KPIs: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve effectiveness and ROI. Regularly review KPIs including customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and overall brand reach.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or relevant field.
- 7 years of proven work experience in a head of Marketing or another senior role.
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as Showpad, Outreach, Churnzero.
- Knowledge of the construction and trades industries.
- Familiarity with the HCM software market and its unique challenges.
