SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Manager – Tax is primarily responsible for all aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and reporting (ASC 740). The Manager - Tax may be asked to prepare the more complex aspects of the tax provision, with review by the Director - Tax or Senior Director – Tax. The Manager - Tax will be asked to oversee the preparation of the tax provision and to review the work performed by Senior Tax Analysts and Tax Analysts in the tax group. The Tax Manager will be asked to prepare quarterly memos and may also lead special projects which will provide analysis for support of aspects of the tax provision.

The Manager - Tax is under the direct supervision of the Director – Tax.

The Manager - Tax will provide day to day direction to the Senior Tax Analyst who reports to the Director – Tax.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and/or prepare the complex tax technical areas of the quarterly and annual tax provision, including calculation and reconciliation of the income statement and balance sheet tax accounts, including income tax payable and deferred tax analyses.
- Primarily responsible for tracking tax law changes within the tax accounting group. The Manager - Tax will be asked to track those changes and ensure law changes are incorporated into the company’s quarterly and annual tax provision.
- Responsible for the identification and/or review of Uncertain Tax Positions.
- Prepare GAAP & Non-GAAP tax rate projections for future tax years, inclusive of modeling tax impacts of potential/enacted legislation.
- Provide assistance in understanding and computing tax impacts related to acquisitions, divestitures, and internal restructurings.
- Draft tax-related footnote disclosures and commentary, to be included in the Company’s SEC filings and collaborate with Technical Accounting personnel, as needed.
- Assist in identifying potential areas to integrate tax technology.
- Act as the primary point of contact with external auditors, pertaining to questions they have about the tax provision.
- Manage the company’s Sarbanes Oxley processes and procedures.
- Assist with tax planning opportunities and related supporting calculations, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA and/or MST preferred.
- At least 4 to 6 years of progressive tax experience in either public accounting and/or private industry (preferably in a manufacturing environment) with focus on ASC 740 and UTP a plus.
- Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Corporate income tax ASC 740 preparation (Federal, State & Local) experience required.
- Experience with international operations a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Focus on exceeding goals and results.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience and knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision.
- Solid expertise in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Query a plus.

- This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote.
