Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $170k-$220k per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your areas of responsibility:
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Director reports to the Head of Accounting and leads the strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand business needs and provide financial guidance.
- Prepare and present detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proactive monitoring of cash positions, loans, and bank relationships.
- Oversee the credit/collection activities, including customer set-ups and collection activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
People Leadership:
- Build a departmental culture in accordance with our core values of respect, trust, integrity, reliability, and creating value.
- Mentor and develop the FP&A and Credit/Collections teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Power BI or SAP experience preferred.
- Emotional intelligence, the ability to drive change, and a commitment to building a culture of trust are all key to success.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
