About the Role:
As a Grants Policy Senior Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will provide expertise in interpreting programmatic policy decisions and preparing grants technical assistance (TA) and compliance guidance for recipients across multiple nationwide grant programs. You will coordinate within a team to help train Federal grant program staff and recipients on grants management, 2 CFR 200, compliance, and oversight by developing and designing storyboards and high-quality compelling presentations.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop TA materials for multiple audiences including technical writing support, quality assurance reviews, and presentation facilitation.
- Assist Federal clients with administering post-award activities for multiple nationwide grants programs, supporting program monitoring, and TA activities.
- Prepare TA and compliance guidance for recipients based on 2 CFR 200.
- Develop and design storyboards and high-quality compelling presentations.
- Understand implications of programmatic policy decisions on the developing grant programs.
- Prepare high-level briefings and talking points for Federal staff.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives, effectively collaborating with all parties to successfully fulfill client needs.
- Build direct client relationships and effectively use client feedback.

Location:
You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements. DMV preferred, but not required.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- Strong technical writing, presentation development, quality assurance of work products, and core consulting skills including meeting facilitation.
- Grants Management:
- Knowledge and strong experience with federal and/or state grants management; ideally has supported execution and operations of grant programs, including post-award processes (e.g., monitoring).
- Knowledge and experience with developing detailed SOPs for critical processes, including grants administration (post-award) and policy resources translated into easy to understand terms.
- Understanding of pre-and post-award grants administration processes, 2 CFR 200, and federal monitoring/oversight, with the ability to understand implications of programmatic policy decisions on the developing grant programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment by communicating effectively.
- US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience using a business process management technology platform such as ServiceNow, Appian or Salesforce.
