Executive Director
The Executive Director of Supportive Living is responsible for the overall management and administration of a supportive living facility in compliance with state regulations and the organization's mission. This role involves providing leadership, ensuring high-quality resident care, maintaining financial stability, and fostering a positive living environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the supportive living program, including resident admissions, care plans, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) regulations and guidelines.
- Financial Management: Manage the facility's budget, ensuring financial stability and efficiency. Monitor revenue and expenses.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise facility staff, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative personnel. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Resident Services: Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents. Ensure the provision of high-quality care, services, and activities that enhance residents' quality of life.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and community partners. Promote the facility's services and maintain a strong occupancy rate.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Monitor and evaluate the facility's performance through quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Facility Maintenance and Safety: Oversee the maintenance and safety of the facility, including routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and living spaces.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit required reports to state agencies and funding sources. Maintain accurate resident records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, LPN or RN.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a supportive living facility or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Illinois supportive living regulations and healthcare industry trends.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and community stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
