You will join a team who creates differentiated digital products that drive business outcomes. The Senior Manager, Product Sales Enablement is responsible for digital products (display, online video, audio and connected TV) that drive many forms of acquisition for marketers inclusive of competitive conquesting, re-acquiring lapsed customers, app downloads, etc.
This individual will take over a product that generates over $150 million in revenue and has significant potential for rapid growth. Consequently, this role comes with substantial exposure to the company’s leadership and various partner teams. Effective communication about the product’s features and future direction will be crucial, especially during regular interactions with the executive leadership of Epsilon, Publicis, and Clients.
This role is sales facing with a primary focus on sales enablement, product packaging, competitive differentiation, go-to-market and identification of new growth opportunities and product enhancements. This role does not define ‘how’ to build a product/feature. Rather, this role is advocating ‘why’ and providing vision to engineers who will build it.
Responsibilities will include:
- This position involves frequent engagement with both the sales team and clients. You will be responsible for leadership on marketplace insights, understanding unique client challenges and clearly communicating solutions.
- Conduct frequent competitor analysis to identify areas of differentiation. Familiarity with Google DV360, the Trade Desk and/or Yahoo a plus.
- Train both sales and internal teams on the competitive landscape, differentiators, and product positioning.
- Own an 18 month feature roadmap with data-driven rationale on prioritization.
- Embrace the unexpected. Opportunities arise every week and need to quickly assess on how/if to support the opportunity.
- Travel – less than 10%.
Ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Enablement, Product Management, or consulting.
- Experience owning product marketing including positioning, competitive analysis, and sales support on go-to-market.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a growth mindset. Motivation to do things 1% better each day. Startup experience and/or launching new product will be valued.
- Strong presentation and customer-facing social skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with building online advertising or marketing technology solutions. Acquisition using marketer’s first-party data (site visit and/or offline data) a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience evolving and enhancing mature products.
- Technical/data centric discipline or equivalent preferred, MBA preferred.
