Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Head of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including corporate accounting, international accounting, consolidations, reporting, audits, payroll, and tax.
What you can do:
- Team Management in a Dynamic Environment: Proactively lead a team of accountants in a fast-paced environment, while encouraging a culture of improvement and professional growth, and working cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure business continuity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they reflect the company’s financial position accurately and in accordance with IFRS accounting standards. Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to senior leadership.
- Systems Management: Oversee SAP ERP system, and responsible for leading optimization projects; identify and assist with implementation of systems improvements.
- Implement Best Practices: Develop and implement standard processes for financial consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards and regulations.
- Month-End Close and Reporting Improvement: Continually develop, expand, and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures, helping to drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities.
- Streamline Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with the FP&A team and other departments to gather and integrate financial data from various sources.
- Audit Support: Support the year-end financial statement audits.
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of related accounting and corporate finance experience.
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Track record of partnering with Executive Leadership.
You may also be able to contribute:
- CPA Required.
- Proven track record of leading and managing a team of finance professionals.
- Strong experience in reporting to senior management of a well-established company.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, the Company’s ERP system.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$231,700—$314,300 USD
