We are currently seeking a talented and polished Director of Front Office for an iconic full-service hotel in Downtown Chicago. This property was recently renovated and offers guests a high-end experience with a wide range of amenities. The hotel is owned and managed by an industry-leading hotel management company and offers significant room for advancement. Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 plus 20% bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match and much more!
Director of Front Office Responsibilities:
- Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk or through reservations, comment cards, letters and/or phone calls, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
- Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Front Office personnel according to company S.O.P.'s.
- Conduct regular Front Office Manager meetings to ensure communication is transparent.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count.
Director of Front Office Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of front desk or guest services experience.
- Experience leading a team.
- High end hotel experience (4+ stars).
- Branded property experience a plus.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Local to the Chicago market.
