Our client is a mission-based non-profit that works to improve the conditions of inner-city youths!
The organization is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the monthly and annual financial reporting, be the main point of contact with auditors, and supervise the Tax/Regulatory filing process.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of general ledger accounting tasks
- Prepare all financial reports, including monthly budget-to-actual comparisons and annual financial statements
- Coordinate the annual audit process, collaborating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation
- Assist in creating reports and presentations for management and trustee meetings
- Supervise treasury operations, including cash flow projections, reconciliations, and risk management
- Manage a team of three accounting professionals
Qualifications:
- A recent background in Audit at a reputable public accounting firm
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting (a master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred)
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is required
- Experience in nonprofit or philanthropic sectors is advantageous but not a requirement
