A fundamental part of our strategy is having desirable and powerful devices that enable the experiences people want and elicit their excitement. Creating these devices involves a close partnership between customers, marketing, silicon partners, hardware and software engineers, designers, and manufacturing. The Surface Team is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to help shape the vision of the Microsoft Display strategy for Surface and other products.

Responsibilities
- Understand and articulate the unmet customer needs in the Display space and drive feature sets into our products to drive customer satisfaction with smart innovation.
- Write Functional and Feature Specifications with customer problems to be solved in mind.
- Create a roadmap for the display features for various product lines.
- Collaborate with IHVs and Windows OS Display team to develop innovative solutions.
- Drive the development process of firmware and tools for Surface including bug management, triage, and investigations.
- Create, maintain and control the project schedule and dashboard, facilitate meetings, and proactively identify risks to the project.
- Analyze data to inform decisions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with embedded system development, preferably in display and graphics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of compliance testing.
