Job Description
FOX Tech leads innovation and develops world class streaming products within FOX Corporation. Our advanced digital products are used by millions of users across web, mobile, and living room devices. Our systems power marquee programming and events, such as FOX series premieres, FOX Nation, World Series, NFC Championship, Super Bowl, PBC Boxing, FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the FOX User Identity team, you will build and maintain large & complex projects which involve low latency, highly scalable API micro services that offer User Identity & profile capabilities to our suite of client applications.
A Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems, working collaboratively with other members of the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise in the systems owned by the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to identity and access management
- Work with other teams within the company to integrate the Identity services into FOX’s large product portfolio
- Contribute proactively to design and architecture discussions with the team.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team
- Partner with leadership to influence priorities and objectives.
- Participate in Tier 3 on-call rotation support for the services you and your team develop and operate.
What You Will Need
- Experience in software engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining highly scalable and secure APIs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Professional working experience with Go programming language
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and related identity and access management technology landscape
- Strong computer science fundamentals - algorithms and data structures
- Strong understanding of software design/architecture and tradeoffs related to large scale systems
- Strong understanding and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases - preferably DynamoDB, Redis
- Professional working experience using AWS or other cloud providers
- Professional working experience using containers, Kubernetes
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- FOX Tech is a globally distributed team; You’ll need to be open to attending occasional meetings and/or troubleshooting sessions outside your normal work hours.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $121,500.00-165,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
