Full-time salaried position based at our Manchester, NH facility.
We are seeking a motivated professional with excellent communication skills to plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the facility’s customer relations programs and activities. This position also co-chairs the facility Customer Service Committee and is responsible for maintaining a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.

Work Hours: Mon-Fri daytime. Flexible hours for nights/weekends/holidays as needed for customer service events.
Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience in Customer Service/Public Relations related field, healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications
Knowledge of community relations, advertising, and social media presence as they relate to long term care operations. Be able to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts to and with company committees and departments as well as community groups/agencies. Have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Possess the ability to establish, implement and maintain effective customer relations.
Responsibilities
Assist department directors in the development and use of public relations policies and procedures. Review and update as needed, all public information describing the services provided in the facility. Support and promote the philosophy, goals, objectives, and programs of the facility. Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the Customer Relations department. Maintain schedules for all customer service programs. Organize, implement, and update internal communication methods. Produce weekly e-newsletters and quarterly paper newsletters. Organize quarterly general staff meetings to include agenda with current topics, presentation of the Employee of the Month(s), and recognition of Caught in the Act program. Schedule, research, and implement ongoing social media campaign (i.e. Facebook). Contact the news media when new programs, promotions, etc. are implemented within the facility that are beneficial to the facility and community alike. Write and submit press releases. Continuously manage and update customer contact/email lists. Participate in bi-weekly new staff orientation programs. Manage the distribution and collection of annual employee satisfaction surveys and ongoing resident/family discharge surveys. Compile all data and create strategic plans in response to survey feedback. Serve as support liaison to all departments to assist with daily customer operations as indicated, (Ex: customer/resident activities, dining room).
