General Summary And Responsibilities
Cascade Designs is a collection of six category-leading brands and over a dozen outdoor product categories. The Senior Director of Sales - North America & Asia Pacific is responsible for the long-term sales growth, and achievement of sales, margin and expense targets, for all Cascade Designs brands and product categories.

They must be a high energy inspirational leader and an effective communicator who leads with appropriate urgency, authority, and a high level of accountability.
- The Senior Director of Sales is responsible for leading the North America & Asia Pacific Sales team to achieve the sales, margin and profitability goals of Cascade Designs.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Service, Product and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding consumer and dealer experience for our industry leading brands. Ensure the brand promise of each Cascade Designs brand is delivered to consumers, in-store and online.
- Achieve sales and margin goals in all channels of distribution, including: Chain/National Account; Independent Specialty; Retail E-Commerce, Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer Online; Military and Medical.
- Manage and develop the sales team, including the managers of Key Accounts; Specialty; Asia Pacific; Military; Sales Planning. Support the development of strong partnerships with independent sales reps and distributors.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to create and manage the sales forecast, by brand, category and product. Partner with Finance in the annual revenue, margin and expense planning process.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to ensure long-term market leadership and growth.
- Subject matter expert on buyers, how and where they buy, and their buying criteria.
- Have knowledge of the competitor and retail landscape and how to stand out apart from all competitors.
- Maintains superb top-to-top relationships with strategic retailers to ensure long term partnerships while cultivating new relationships with key future partners.
- Ensures that the sales managers and teams are provided with the tools, programs, and resources to be best in class.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Sales leadership teams in determining seasonal product pricing.
- Evaluate internal and external commission percentage and incentive programs for their effectiveness and for alignment with company financial goals.
- Creates and gives compelling sales presentations that build our brands and increase sales and profit.
- Collaborate with Product Line Management, Sales Operations and Marketing teams in planning, presenting, content creation and execution of domestic sales meetings, trade shows and other sales events as needed.
- Responsible for the eCommerce P&L and delivering sales.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience in the Outdoor Industry, particularly in the Key/National Account, Independent Specialty, International and E-Commerce (including Amazon) and Direct-to-Consumer Online.
- Experience with International Sales, including Canada and Asia Pacific.
- 3+ years of senior management level, managing sales teams and budgets in a performance-based environment.
- An understanding of the Government & Military sales channels and procedures.
- Familiarity with Medical sales channels and procedures is a plus.
- Proven accountability for revenue and profit growth, new market penetration and associated KPIs.
- Deep experience with the modern sales and marketing landscape with tenure/experience in digital marketing.
- Experience of overseeing/management of online Direct-to-Consumer businesses.
- Experience of overseeing CRM platforms.
- Extensive experience in cross channel sales to optimize the mix between specialty, large accounts and e-commerce and own DTC.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong, data-driven problem resolution skills, including the ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to travel frequently in North America with occasional trips internationally.
- Ability to work out of our headquarters in Reno, Nevada.
