As Senior Product Manager Technical, you will be responsible for the definition and development of the product roadmap. You will help shape product strategy while driving engineering and features based on this vision. Responsibilities
- Work closely with leadership and several cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative consumer software and services.
- Partner with Software Engineering, Hardware, Content, Merchandising, and Business Intelligence teams to create best-in-class solutions for customers.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to identify key pain points.
- Build innovative concepts and successfully champion them through senior management and other teams.
- Work successfully across Device and other Digital Business Units to ship new devices and add meaningful customer experience updates to Amazon Kids.
- Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
- Present confidently to senior management, external clients, and other large audiences.
- Roll up sleeves as necessary to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet our high standards of quality.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr PM-T for Kids, you will collaborate with PM-Ts across Amazon Kids and with partner teams to define the vision and strategic direction of our product. You will work with engineering teams across the software stack to define features, prioritize backlogs, and align roadmaps to ensure successful launches. You will work with our leadership, product teams, UX designers, and engineering to make sure that we're aligned on program vision and investments. You will be responsible for setting and tracking goals. You will balance customer and business needs with the constraints that our tech teams face. You will exercise your strengths in taking large, complex projects and breaking them down into manageable chunks. You will bring high judgment and data to discussions and use that to influence your peers and leadership.
A day in the life
You'll leverage your experience as a PMT to define and drive the delivery of first class features for kids. You'll spend any given day working with partner, business intelligence, UX, and engineering teams identifying the product and features that we need to build. You'll bring data to bear on decisions and when we don't have data you'll drive an iterative, experimental approach to keep the team moving forward. You'll have regular leadership visibility and will drive alignment to our vision. Most of all, you'll work in an environment where we have fun while challenging each other to delight our customers.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
