About Our Practice
Milliman’s Seattle Health Practice serves a wide variety of organizations, including insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, reinsurance companies, providers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and employers. The staff consists of 150+ actuarial professionals in addition to healthcare consultants, IT, Administrative, and other non-actuarial staff.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Lead the development and production of the quality engine, ensuring alignment with healthcare program requirements (MA Stars, MSSP, Medicaid Core Sets).
- Coordinate with data engineers on quality engine development and maintenance.
- Oversee the application of the quality engine to various datasets, including CMS Medicare and Medicaid datasets and client-specific data.
- Manage the production timeline for multiple products within Seattle Health, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
- Communicate directly with clients about their needs and manage custom product requests.
- Collaborate with other Milliman teams to integrate our outputs into their products.
- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources across various projects.
- Provide regular status updates to non-technical and technical managers.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications:
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (7-10 years) in technical product management roles within the healthcare or healthcare IT industry.
- Deep understanding of quality measurement methodologies and healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., MA Stars, MSSP, Medicaid Core Sets).
- Experience with managing large-scale data applications and integration projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and reporting standards is highly desirable.
Personal Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMS datasets and healthcare program compliance.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools used in healthcare settings.
- Certification in Product Management or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Location
This position is based out of the Milliman office in Seattle, WA. It is preferred that this employee work in-office, but remote candidates anywhere in the US will be considered.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $96,000 to $194,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
