Aon is looking for a North America Health Chief Operating OfficerAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Health in Chicago, IL with flexibility to work from other Aon Health offices across the US.Your impact as a North America Health Chief Operating OfficerReporting into the NA COO and in collaboration with the US Health Practice Leader, the COO provides executive leadership of Aon’s Health & Benefits practice in North America.The role is accountable for delivering optimal results through the successful deployment and the execution of initiatives that support the organizational strategy (Aon United Blueprint) within Health & Benefits in North America. The COO in partnership with geographic COO will help enable colleagues to deliver value to clients and colleagues by optimizing operations, leveraging scale, and allocating resources appropriately. The COO will also address issues around client satisfaction, margin improvement and growth, while simultaneously instilling a discipline which includes performance metrics that drive efficiency, effective delivery and revenue/PTI growth.Key Job Responsibilities:Along with the Practice Leader, set the operating strategy for the US Health practice.Develop strategic plans and conduct business analysis to support commercial objectivesEstablish portfolio investment identification, prioritization and selection processEvaluate capabilities of competitors, carriers, and other 3rd-parties as well as client needs to support decisionsAssist business leaders to execute on priorities defined by regional and global leadership (e.g. DAU, local market planning, etc.)Define strategy to leverage ABS operating model for regionAssist in executing on growth targets for H&BActively help expand margin to drive SPTI growthDrive operational excellence and changeIn partnership with CFO, drive spread by developing and managing controls around spendConduct regular business and operational reviews and drive improvement planning consistent with the practice’s objectivesDrive performance culture that measures and holds geographic and solution line leaders accountableResponsible for delivering optimal results through implementation and coordinating of all other key operational business initiatives.Manage risk and ensure complianceManage potential risk with new solutions, clients, carriers and 3rd partiesProactively drive operations and technology initiatives to lessen risk to the organization (e.g. E&Os, business vulnerabilities, etc.)Manage remediation of open audits and drive timely closureEnsure client solution readiness and compliance with regulatory requirementsYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Fifteen plus years of operations leadership and management experienceExtensive business knowledge and expertise in healthExperience leading large scale transformation and change management initiatives focused on innovation and efficiency.Preferred Experience:Agile project management methodologyTechnical acumenEducation:Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplineMaster's of Business Administration preferredWe offer youAcompetitivetotal rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with agrowingworldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
