The position is responsible for developing and expanding client relationships in the Greater Las Vegas market by working with revenue size companies $10MM and greater, and originating, underwriting and closing profitable commercial loans in the $1MM to $50MM target range. Responsible for client acquisition, proactive client portfolio management, exceptional customer service and selling full commercial banking solutions to clients.
Key responsibilities of Relationship Manager:
- Drive revenue by continually prospecting for strong clients and financially sound relationships.
- Assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and recommend credit transactions.
- Own a loan from inception through performance and carefully monitor loan portfolio performance to ensure compliance with all financial covenants.
- Market and originate high quality loans and appropriately balance growing the business while protecting the bank.
- Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting and monitoring of clients’ loan accounts.
- Market commercial banking services including deposits, payments and treasury management.
- Focus on customer service and relationship maintenance.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess at a minimum a Bachelor's degree and five years of commercial lending experience. The candidate must possess proven strong relationship building, prospecting, loan structuring, underwriting, negotiation, client management and client retention skills. Thorough knowledge of commercial products and services. Extensive knowledge of commercial lending laws, regulations and practices. Experience with treasury management products strongly preferred. Working knowledge of financial statements required. Local market knowledge, relationships and community involvement required.
