Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Manchester, NH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance, with a proven track record of managing projects and teams. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring the company's financial goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Drive process improvements across financial operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial plans and operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management is required.
- CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance/accounting with increasing responsibility.
- Proven success in managing projects and people within a professional setting.
- Strong technical skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in a professional services company is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in process improvement are preferred.
