Oversee team to ensure highest standards of customer service are met, as well as accurate and timely delivery of services. Create and implement continuous improvement strategies to promote business transformation and growth across all functions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments and vendors. What you’ll do:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure team consistently meets expected metrics and service levels for central bill account setup, billing, customer service, and collections activities
- Own key vendor relationships, including regular governance reviews and exploration of new products or services that support improvement or growth strategies
- Partner with IT, Finance, Sales, and other internal teams to clear roadblocks for the team
- Participate in budget development and ensure team performs within guidelines
- Support the development of new policies and procedures as needed
- Use performance data to analyze trends and develop improvement plans, including regular audits on team deliverables to ensure compliance
- Support necessary training and development opportunities for team members
- Subject matter expert in providing support for other Avis Budget Group regions
- Perform all standard people leadership duties such as hiring, training, time-keeping approvals, performance discussions and reviews, disciplinary action
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related field, or 10 years of related experience
- Minimum 3 years of management and customer service experience
- Experience with vendor management
- Demonstrated history of driving continuous improvement, delivering on metrics, and developing people
- Must be a critical thinker
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as superb interpersonal skills and the ability to act with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to navigate various PC systems
