Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstry:We are currently seeking a Senior Facility Operations Consultant to join ourteam as a member of our Technical Services Division in Denver, CO Thisperson will establishand implementsustainable and efficient improvements tothe operation, maintenance, and management of building assets. This roleis similar to the experience required of a Building Engineer, MaintenanceTechnician, or Maintenance Scheduler.You're great at:Asset ManagementEvaluating existing client asset maintenance programs and providingrecommendations to improve them.Understanding the different characteristics of facility asset types and howthose factors drive preventive and predictive maintenance.Thinking about all the costs of owning an asset and ways to reduce thosecosts.Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, Operating Procedures, and Work OrderOptimizationImplementing best-in-class preventive/predictive maintenance plans(PM/PdM) for a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing assets.Working closely with operators and technicians to review PM/PdMs, trainstaff on-site, make PM/PdMs modifications as needed, and deployPM/PdMs from a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Monitoring the ongoing health of PM/PdM programs and making changes toPM/PdM programs based on client feedback, CMMS data, and industry bestpractices.Evaluating and calculating the impact of best-in-class PM/PdMs on a varietyof asset cost categories, including cost savings generated from: increasedequipment life, reduced emergency maintenance, and increased energyefficiency.Developing standard operating procedures (SOP) for a variety ofmechanical, electrical, and plumbing assets.Implementing warranty management processes that aid in the tracking,monitoring, and carrying out of warranty claims.Providing ideas for work order standards that improve workflows, aid in thetracking of work order performance, and allow for easy adoption bytechnicians.What you need to Succeed at McKinstry:Three (3) plus years of experience in HVAC operations, maintenance, orcommissioning required.BA/BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent workexperience required.Excellent client communication skills required, including technicians,operators, engineers and management staff.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems required.Working knowledge of control systems required.Ability to read and understand construction documents (mechanicaldrawings, specifications, etc.) required.General understanding of the planning, design, and construction processrequired.Basic understanding of other building systems (fire/life safety,plumbing, lighting, security) required.Interest and ability in bringing new ideas to the team, continuallyidentifying new opportunities for improvement, and testing out new processesto achieve success.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMSs) preferred.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlookrequired; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.PeopleFirst Benefits:When it comes to the basics, we have you cove ed:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zerodeductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistanceUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveTransgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance"Building Good" paid community service timeLearning and advancement opportunities via McKinstry UniversityMcKinstry Moves onsite gyms or reimbursement for remote workersSee benefit plan documents for complete details.If you're driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together,McKinstry is the place to build your career.The pay range for this position is $76,320 - $116,090 per year;however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge,skills, and experience.
